BOOK A LESSON
We're so excited that you want to come and play at UWPC! Before booking a lesson, please read through the following information on how to book, when to book, pricing, etc.
How Lessons are Organised
To book lessons, we use a spreadsheet signup system (explained below), which you will find under Lesson Timetable. We will then organise a lift for you to the lesson, depending on whether you are located on Campus or in Leamington Spa. Lessons are 1 hour long, and under Pricing, you can find the breakdown of the various block lesson options that we offer.
When are Lessons Available
Each week we receive lesson times from Offchurch, which are then posted on the timetable. All lesson times are posted once at the beginning of the week, either a Sunday or Monday, depending on when Offchurch provides us with lesson times. On these days, our training captain will post that the lesson times are up with a link to our signup sheet, on our Facebook page and social chat. Please keep an eye out on these pages if you are looking to book in a lesson.
How to Book a Lesson
Once you have purchased the relevant memberships, you will be alerted of the lessons through our Facebook. You will then be able to sign-up to lessons via our Lesson Timetable.

You will be asked to enter you name, student number, and the relevant lesson time. We do however cap lessons to 3 lessons per person per week, in order to give everyone the opportunity to play. Lesson sign-ups during Nationals are subject to changes.

Lesson times change each week, so please keep an eye out for this!
PLEASE NOTE: The deadline for lesson sign-ups for the following day is 6pm.
Getting to the Lesson
Transport to and from lessons is relatively easy, despite being off-campus, so don’t be discouraged! We will make it as easy as possible for you.
The transport to and from lessons is organised by our Training Captain, Amy. The evening prior to the lessons, Amy will contact you on Facebook messenger, around 6pm, letting you know which of our drivers (other club members) will be driving you and where to meet them.

Unfortunately, sometimes we don’t manage to have drivers either on campus or playing at that time, in which case you will have to get an Uber (around £6-£8) to the lesson. This cost can be split between the various people getting the Uber to the lesson.
Can’t make a lesson?
If for any reason you aren’t able to make a lesson, you can sign yourself out of the lesson using the relevant date stamp and entering an ‘X’ in front e.g. xTU2.

However, we notify the club by 6pm latest, of who is playing the following day, so if you wish to remove yourself from the lesson, please ensure it is done before the deadline.
If you decide on the day that you are unable to make the lesson, you will be charged for the lesson that day (due to the work that is required to prep horses and organisation). Therefore if you are unable to make the lesson at short notice, please get in touch with Amy and let her know as soon as possible so the relevant changes can be made.
